material

FEP

FPA

application characteristics

EPDM

- 54 ° to + 150 ° C

- 54 ° to + 150 ° C

good weather and ozone resistance  - excellent resistance to water and steam - good chemical resistance to organic and inorganic acids and polarized alkalis such as alcohols, ketones and esters

Silicone / VMQ

- 60 ° to + 205 ° C

- 60 ° to + 205 ° C

low compression settings - good  heat resistance, low temperatures - moderate alkali resistance -  good weather and ozone resistance

Viton / FKM

- 26 ° to + 205 ° C

- 26 ° to + 205 ° C

low compression at elevated temperatures -  good weather, ozone and aging resistance, - high temperature resistance - good for wide application in oils and solvents, such as aliphatic, aromatic and halogen hydrocarbons, vegetable oils, acids

FEP -  transparent - max. 204 ° C - excellent chemical and corrosion resistance - does not absorb moisture - excellent elasticity - smooth / self-lubricating surface - FDA compliant - USP Class VI approved

PFA - transparent / light blue - max. 260 ° C - excellent thermal and chemical resistance - better resistance to cracking and stress than FEP - extremely smooth surface - low vapor saturation - FDA compliant - USP Class VI approved
