NCAF (so-called "klingerites")
New generations of asbestos-free gasket materials, the so-called "klingerite" are the area of sealing where the relationship between price and quality is most pronounced. A large number of manufacturers place a large number of commercial names on the market and one should be very careful here because the consequences of a possible leak can cause great damage, costs and problems. We have long ago decided on renowned and globally recognized brands that, in addition to the EU Certificate, also have long-term references in certain areas of sealing. Below we give general technical data on the materials we use in the manufacture of flange seals.
BK-B: aramid + NBR, area of application: up to 300 ° C / 30 b - max 380 ° C / 80 b;
BK-B / A: reinforced with wire mesh
BK-B A / G: reinforced with wire mesh, graphitized on both sides - for sealing oil, water, low-pressure steam, gases and weak chemicals.
TEADIT NA-1006: aramid + NBR, green, application range: up to 220 ° C / 30 b, max 300 ° C / 80 b; for sealing petroleum products, water, gases and weak chemicals.
